About Page

I’m back to my very first creative love—beading. After five years, I pulled out my beads and started stringing again. A lot has happened in the intervening years since I last beaded. New non-kinking beading wires allow me more flexibility (so to speak). I can mix glass, gemstones, metal, and sharp edged (bugle) beads without worrying about sliced threads or kinks in the jewelry. Also, many different gemstones have started appearing in bead stores. From beautiful chalcedony’s, in pale turquoise to stunning orange-red, to rutilated quartz slabs that look like black confetti that’s been frozen in frosty white stones. It’s been a thrilling time discovering all the different combinations I can use to create unique pieces of jewelry that fill the senses.
